Kekoye is an online e-learning marketplace that connects users seeking to purchase and enroll in educational courses (“Students”) with content creators providing those courses (“Instructors”).

2. User Accounts

To purchase courses or publish content, you must register for an account.

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Instructor Terms

Instructors who publish courses on Kekoye are subject to the following specific terms:

• Intellectual Property: Instructors retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights to all original content they upload.
• License to Kekoye: By publishing a course, Instructors grant Kekoye a non-exclusive right to host, distribute, and market the content on our platform.
• Non-Exclusivity: Instructors are free to host and sell their courses on competing platforms or their own websites simultaneously.
• Revenue and Payouts: Instructors earn an 80% revenue share on standard course sales. Payouts are calculated monthly and can be requested via the Instructor Dashboard once the balance meets the minimum threshold of ₦100,000.
• Pricing & Promotions: Instructors maintain control over their base course pricing and custom discount coupons.
• Content Removal: Instructors may unpublish courses at any time; however, Students who have already purchased the course will retain lifetime access to the materials through their student portal.

4. Student Purchases & Access

• Payments: All payments are processed securely at checkout. By submitting payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees.
• Course Access: Upon successful payment, Students receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the course content for personal, educational purposes.

5. Content Security and Anti-Piracy

Kekoye strictly prohibits the unauthorized distribution of course materials.

• Domain Restrictions: Course videos are securely embedded and restricted to playback exclusively on the Kekoye domain.
• Prohibited Actions: Users may not download, scrape, screen-record, reproduce, redistribute, or use “Save Video As” functions to rip content from the platform. Any attempt to bypass encrypted user authentication or access controls will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

6. User Conduct

All users agree NOT to:

• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, offensive, or infringes on third-party copyright.
• Use the platform for any fraudulent or malicious activity.
• Interfere with the proper working of the website or our servers.

7. Limitation of Liability

Kekoye provides the platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kekoye shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the platform.
